I qualified as a personal trainer in 2013 with a vision to build my own business. After initially working in local gyms, I opened my first private studio in Henley-on-Thames. The business grew rapidly within 3 years, going from strength to strength, and building a large and dedicated client base. In January 2017 I opened FIT HUB in Wallingford – reaching my goal of a bigger premises and offering additional services onsite, including sports massage.
Most of my current clients have been with me since I started, but I have welcomed many new faces over the years. I believe in building good relationships based on honesty and a realistic approach to expectations. Providing support and encouragement every step of the way is key to keeping you motivated, helping to reach your goals and ultimately maintaining what you have already achieved.
Finding the time to train is difficult, however I believe that it is quality not quantity and performing exercises with the correct technique; that will be of the most benefit to you in the long run…
One of my biggest passions is diet and nutrition, but my approach is simple – I’m the first to admit we all need to enjoy ourselves from time to time, however I’ve learned that for me to be a healthy, balanced individual, I need a healthy balanced diet. I advise my clients to take this same approach to their nutrition, encouraging them to eat a variety of wholesome sustaining foods, that they can work with to nourish their body in their own individual way.
I love functional training and incorporate this in all my sessions. I include weighted and unweighted exercises, plus cardio and core stability. The balance of training consistently with different types of exercise techniques is key and the best way to achieve and maintain your desired results. No two sessions are ever the same so you will never be bored and never know what’s coming!
You will learn to train efficiently and most importantly enjoy it!
Whether you have a personal training session with me, or come along to FIT FIX, you’ll soon become part of TEAMFIT, because that’s what we are, we are one huge TEAM! So much of the buzz is down to the interaction and support between clients. Whether losing or gaining weight, firming up or just coming because you love to train, everyone is welcome!
Lastly, FITHUB is so much more than training. Every year TEAMFIT is challenged to take part in fitness events around the county. We love to take part in events, fundraising for amazing charities and good causes that are close to our hearts…
